Trigger Points

Trigger Points is the 2019 exhibition that Laub was a part of at Fellows of Contemporary Art Gallery in Los Angeles, California as one of the three recipients of the 2019 FOCAFellowship Award. The title for the show refers to trigger point massage, where the therapist applies pressure to specific points in the body that are responsible for larger areas of referred pain and tension. If done correctly this technique can help relief such pain. All three artists in the exhibition work independently in their own practices, to unlock and reveal the trigger points of the body politic, probing and pushing to identify and alleviate areas of our collective pain.
