Therapeutic Touch

As a massage therapist, my foremost commitment is to be fully present with you and the intricate fascia within your body. I provide a therapeutic touch that encourages you to move beyond self-judgment and connect with a deeper, more authentic sense of self. Drawing on a variety of massage techniques, I aim to gently release the tension your body holds from both emotional and physical stresses. Whether working on the superficial layers, the perifascial tissues, or the deeper structures, I prioritize fostering a loving, embodied connection. Together, we facilitate release, relaxation, and rejuvenation, so that you can return to your life with renewed joy, love, and purpose.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is an art of truly listening to the body through touch. This practice can involve firm, slow, and precise pressure or, alternatively, an incredibly light touch. The key lies in my ability to intuitively respond to how your body receives each movement in real time. I connect with your internal structures through a deep understanding of fascia—how it resists and releases—along with how muscles move, attach to bones, and interact with one another. Together, we explore what it means for your unique body to function in a healthy, balanced way. Through focused, meditative attention, we uncover and release areas where stress and emotional tension have created blockages. This process often invites dream-like visions and profound experiences, recognized as sensory and emotional releases. Your nervous system is shifting from high alert into a state of deep relaxation.

Circulatory Massage

Using circulatory massage, I concentrate on the heart and its vast network of vessels that flow throughout your body. Long, sweeping motions combined with varying pressure enhance blood circulation to the farthest areas of your limbs, organs, neck, and head. These techniques also promote lymphatic flow, helping to reduce swelling in the hands and legs. This approach is particularly beneficial for older adults and those who spend extended periods sitting or lying down.

Assisted Stretching

Assisted stretching is an active and interactive technique that combines massage and stretching to relax and lengthen the body through supportive, targeted holds. With a guided approach, I ensure each stretch is properly aligned and tailored to your comfort, never forcing you into unnecessary discomfort. Through ongoing communication, we find the optimal intensity while maintaining steady, mindful breathing. Techniques include static stretching, which holds a position for thirty seconds, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), where I hold a stretch as you contract the muscle for five seconds, then relax, repeating this cycle three to five times. Assisted stretching effectively enhances flexibility, improves posture, alleviates pain, prevents injury, boosts athletic performance, and promotes better sleep.

Incorporated Modalities

Other modalities I incorporate into my practice include: Qigong massage, which utilizes acupressure points to balance Qi and enhance energy flow throughout the body. Craniosacral therapy, aimed at aligning the body’s natural rhythmic pulse. Myofascial release, applying gentle, sustained pressure to specific areas to relieve tension. Sensory re-patterning, using gentle holding, rocking, and swinging motions to help the body release tension and reset the nervous system. Gentle, compassionate therapeutic touch, thoughtfully provided for those nearing the end of life or who are medically fragile.
