the love in our belly

the love in our belly is Laub’s 2016 solo exhibition at Visitor Welcome Center in Los Angeles, California. Laub put a squishy gym floor down and painted the entire room gold, inviting visitors to take off their shoes before entering. The light would shine through the blown glass cactus, casting green reflections throughout the room. The fan blew into a plastic bag filling the space with a subtle white noise.
