the act of dying upon one’s self and other remnants of a rebirth, is Laub’s 2018 solo exhibition at the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, California. Through the making of this exhibition Laub was wrestling with problems arising from family addictions, break ups and self discovery. One of the works, a bag of rotting meat,  is the inspiration behind a current writing project; a sci-fi, body horror (non?) fiction novel entitled Meat Bag that will be published in two parts in 2027.
